“Give Me Peace” was written in early 1979, when I was living with a friend in a U-District apartment. It was about my yearnings for peace in my life, amid the struggle to survive while pursuing my musical dreams (and starving..lol). It was recorded in the summer of '79 with Neltner producing and again the band (notably the late Bill Walters) rising to celestial heights in rich vocal harmony.
